And if I'm being honest, parts of it were quite messy.I'm not sure what the author was trying to achieve with the characters in this book, especially Persephone. Persephone had a learning curve in this book but she had a personality transplant as well. The way she acted in this book was a total contradiction to the first book. Yes, she's more stressed out in this book and she has a lot more going on but it's like she was a completely different person. All I got from her in this book was a load of contradictions and emotional whiplash. Around halfway through the book, I was trying to keep an open mind but I was pretty much fed up with Persephone’s whining and her inability to listen to anything and anyone. I honestly hope the next book redeems her character for me. I'm sad that this book didn't live up to the first one but I'm hoping the next book is better. 3.5 Stars3 Spice
I read the first of this series and loved it. I was worried that this one wasn't gonna be as good as the first, but I was wrong, very much wrong. It is just as amazing as the first book. I enjoyed the characters more in this one. Hermes is my favorite character he is so funny and sarcastic in such serious moments. I can't wait to read the 3rd book of this series 🖤✨️
I liked the first one a decent bit, this one not so much. The story was whiny and full of no communication and all fighting. Sex doesn't fix everything unlike this couple likes to think. And the sex was boring aswell. In the end nothing changed anyway
