Dragon Found is not a dragon shifters book, but rather one where humans bond with the dragons. Fierce protectors and companions for life.I really enjoyed this concept. The royal dragon riders were on the search for the human queen, the one who would awaken the dragon queen in her egg and help her hatch. No one expected to find her in Deepacre, especially not Pippin herself. She had been booted from her family estate and essentially shunned and shamed since her fathers death. Imagine her shock when she is the one who coaxes the little queen from her shell.She’s brought to the castle, after a rocky introduction to her sudden intended, Prince Draven. The Riders help her navigate her new life, and she grows to trust Brom, Soren, Ged, and Flynn.This book is well written and I think a fantastic start to an intriguing storyline. I can’t wait to see what happens next, and I’ll admit, I’m still holding out a tiny bit of hope for Draven even if he behaved abominably. Even if that doesn’t happen, I’m happy with how Sam wove Pippin’s fate with the Riders, Glimmer approved and all.
