False Note by David Lagercrantz felt like someone handed me a puzzle… and then walked off with half the pieces 😐📚It’s a super quick read, I’ll give it that. I blinked and I was already at the end. But the end? That was a full-body WTF that echoed into the void. I closed the book, stared into space, and realized I still had zero answers. Not one. Not even a crumb. And that kind of unresolved chaos makes me feral in the wrong way 😤🔥I’m all for mystery, but this one left me with the vibe of an unfinished sentence and a door slammed in my face. Fast, yes. Satisfying… absolutely not.1.5/5 — speed-read energy with an ending that made me want to file a complaint with the universe.
By far the worst story in the Alibis collection. What did I just read? That was so unsatisfying. For a thriller, this wasn't thrilling at all.
