Paul Hiebert's academic record is remarkable: BA at the University Of Manitoba, 1916; gold medalist; MA, University Of Toronto, 1917; MSc, University Of McGill, 1922; PhD in chemistry, McGill University, 1942. He was professor of chemistry at the University Of Manitoba for 28 years. Born in Pilot Mound, Manitoba in 1892: Dr. Hiebert and his wife resided until his death in 1987 at The Burrs in Carman, Manitoba. A beautiful and peaceful spot on the banks of the Boyne river - when it doesn't flood!
