Arthur Carpenter was a rich man due to his company’s development of the magnetic drive system used in almost all vehicles in the 22nd century. When he is blackmailed over a compromising holo-clip featuring one of his daughters, he hires an unusual P.I. Evan Hardkill to make the payoff. Hardkill does the job but something seems wrong.
