Opis
Stanley Yelnats finds himself grappling with the weight of his family's peculiar curse, a situation that has followed him through generations. After being wrongfully accused of theft, he is sent to a juvenile detention center known as Camp Green Lake, a desolate place where the only task for the boys is to dig holes in the unforgiving Texas sun. As he works alongside a diverse group of boys, Stanley uncovers the mysteries behind the camp, including its dark past and the true purpose of the holes they are forced to dig.
Through camaraderie, resilience, and the determination to break free from his family's history, Stanley embarks on a journey of self-discovery. The friendships he forms and the secrets he unearths lead him to challenge not only the curse that has haunted his family but also the oppressive system at Camp Green Lake. In a tale filled with adventure and intrigue, Stanley learns that sometimes, digging deep can lead to unexpected treasures.
