Jessie's Choice

Jessie’s Choice is a thriller set against the backdrop of a city living in fear of the killing spree of a serial murderer. Simon Edwards in his debut novel tells the tale of sixth-formers, Jessie Peters and Jack Walker, both socially inept and with tragic recent family history. He relates how they find each other and build a tender loving relationship but with unimaginable consequences. His use of terse short sentences ensures that the story moves along with terrifying rapidity and his dialogue is the dialogue of the contemporary street. Although this is the tale of two teenagers it will appeal to people of all ages who appreciate a fast paced thriller.
