My nightmares haven't stopped since the crash. I'm paralyzed with fear, barely able to function, and the other survivors are looking at me like I'm *that* girl.

The broken one. The one who doesn't help. The one who's in the way.

Then Urukol shows up. A seven-foot tall, muscular alien dragon-man who's damaged just like me. He wears his scars for all the world to see. Even as imperfect as he is from past injuries, he still makes my tummy do stupid butterfly somersaults.

This planet we're stranded on is bound and determined to kill us. It forces Urukol and I alone to try and survive a monsoon, floods, a horde of monsters that want to eat us—oh and the Order that wants to use me for breeding.

My survival depends on this scaled, winged, enormous warrior who makes my body burn like the double red suns of Tajss. Is he too damaged to deal with the dangers? Am I?
