Opis

This book may not be for everyone, and for those reviews that I have seen where it is “boring, slow paced, annoying main character.” I understand. Knowing this is a series, Empire of Silence was a phenomenal set up for the Sun Eater series. This is a high fantasy/sci-fi epic to its core and it is incredible. If there are two characters that go hand in hand they are Hadrian (Sun Eater) and Kvothe (Name of the Wind). Both hard headed and confusing at times, but truly great characters at their foundation. I think Christopher has done a Hadrian a justice in Empire of Silence and I’m excited to see his growth from here on out.I’m thrilled to move on to Howling Dark, from what I’ve heard this is just the beginning of a 5 star series. I’m ready to take my journey into the silence beyond the stars! 4/5 NEED to read again.Second read through, honestly gas. I don’t remember it being this good. I do agree that reading Empire of Silence again I understood so much more of the story because I recognize names and terms throughout the series.5/5
