As the narrative unfolds, readers are invited to witness the characters' growth as they confront their feelings and the circumstances that bind them. Through sharp dialogue and relatable scenarios, the authors craft moments of tension and vulnerability, making it easy to connect with the struggles and triumphs of each person involved. The push and pull of desire and disdain creates an engaging dynamic that keeps readers turning the pages.
With an emphasis on the unpredictable nature of love, the story embraces both the heartache and the joy that comes with falling for someone unexpected. It challenges the notion that love can only be found in perfect conditions, showcasing how often the greatest affections stem from the most unlikely beginnings. The narrative not only entertains but also invites reflection on the complexities of human emotions and relationships.

The only reason I'm rating it four stars instead of five is because there are several typos throughout. This was one of my favorite quotes from "Make Me, Break Me" "You’re too damn scared of falling for someone, even when they’re right in front of you."Overall, it was a really good story and I would definitely read the full-length version of their story if given the opportunity. "Love Me Not" By Keighley Bradford ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I absolutely loved this short story and I need the rest of Derek and Olivia's story ASAP to find out what happens next! "Tipsy On You" By Anna Volkin ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐This was a really great story! It was so cute and funny. I loved the scene in chapter five. It was hilarious! 😂"Sweet Love and Hate" By Ann C. Orlandi ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I really enjoyed "Sweet Love and Hate," It's a sweet enemies to lovers story with just the right amount of steam. I especially loved the ending, what Xavier did for Ariana was really sweet. 🥰"BAILAMOS" By Rubi Jade ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I loved everything about this story! My favorite part was the scene at the Mexican restaurant after the dance competition. I'd love to read more of Mariana and Hector's story! 🙂"Buzz Off" By Renée Dahlia⭐⭐⭐½"Germinate" By K. McEvern Lestrade ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I loved this story so much, it's such a cute love story. Olive and Calla are put together to work on a presentation for the company they both work for and during their all-night work session, they fall in love. My favorite part of the book was the picnic scene at the end, that was so sweet! 🥰"Game On!" By J.T. Silver ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐This story was so good! I loved all of it, but my favorite parts were the scene where they were on the porch together and the ending. I'd love to see a full-length novel featuring Vanessa and John. 🙂"Absolutely Not!" By Chelle Pimblott ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐This was another really great story that I'd love to see turned into a novel. Emmie's brother's boss moves in with her because he has nowhere else to go and it turns out that someone might be after him. However, Emmie wants nothing to do with him after a misunderstanding when they had met previously on a dating app. Absolutely Not! Is a great enemies to lovers rom-com with an added romantic suspense twist. "Snug As A Bug" By Cynthia Terelst ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"Seven Days" By Chelle Maccabe⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐This was my favorite story in the anthology so far! Sunny, the co-owner of a bakery with her best friend, is reunited with her first crush. Will the spark between them still be there after being apart for so many years? Read this great short story from Chelle Maccabe to find out! 🙂My favorite part of the story was the ending, especially the scene involving the stuffed animal. That was such a sweet moment between Sunny and Will. ❤️"Roots" By K. L. Mielke⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Emma meets Noah Montgomery when he storms into her bookshop because of a memoir his late grandfather wrote and published. However, it turns out that Noah's grandpa had bigger plans for the both of them. Find out what those plans are by reading this wonderful story from K. L. Mielke. 🙂"Falling For The Enemy" By Serafina Jax ⭐⭐⭐½"The Biggest Turnaround" By Carolina Jax ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I absolutely loved The Biggest Turnaround! It's a great insta love story! Britt and Bobby met for the first time when Bobby was hired to work at the same company she works at and from day one they acted like they hated each other until a simple touch at a football game made them realize their true feelings for each other. If Carolina has written a full-length novel featuring Britt and Bobby I would love to read it! 🙂"The Sweetest Desire" By M Leigh Morhaime ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐This is a great story and I want more of Dex and Chloe! My favorite part of the story is where Dex shows Chloe his tattoo and tells her about the reason he got that particular tattoo. It was such a beautiful and emotional scene."Baked With Sarcasm and Love" By Angela W. Smith and Colla Triti ⭐⭐⭐⭐I liked the story in general but it would have been better if the Daddy/ Baby Girl parts would have been left out of it. It was kind of weird to have that included considering the storyline was based around Renee and Beau's kids. Overall, it's a really good book with lots of great stories, some of which I'd love to see expanded into full-length novels. 🙂*I received an ARC from DS Book Promotions and am voluntarily leaving a review.
