It's just before New Year, and Frank, an American tourist, has hired Kenji to take him on a guided tour of Tokyo's nightlife. This really is a book of two halves, which hinge around one significant (and disturbing) event. I don't really know what to say about this book. It's deeply unsettling and creeps under your skin to stay, long after you've closed the book. I think it'll need a reread in the future.
