A group of friends, some coupled up, some with money, some without money, at a beach house at the height of the summer season, with plenty of good food and drink and not such good morals--kind of an old set up, maybe, but still a good one for the drama.
Some people might say this short story about people who appear to be good people is full of cheap shots and sucker punches, and I'd agree.
