Never Subdued is a true story of the Philippine American War an how it led to the Moro Campaigns against radical Islam at the turn of the 19th Century. (Moro is the Spanish word for Islam). It illustrates the fact that our current problem in the middle East is not the first time US Soldier's have faced these fierce warriors and it relates entirely to the present day. Part I is also the true story of the 1st ND Volunteer Infantry and why ten of its members were recipients of the Medal of Honor. It also depicts the resolve and bravery of the Filipinos' fight for independence. It is an exciting tale full of action and drama.
