I liked the multi-perspective and their characters. I didn't quite like them both having the same "something happened in my past" trope. Erin's even was quite farfetched in my opinion, it didn't really fit the story. If the part of her being a daughter of a marquess was left out I would have enjoyed it more, even more so because afterward there is barely any mention of it. Throughout the story, I kinda forgot some of the side-characters. This might be due to my speed in reading this book. I had a lot going on so I had to put the book down for a week. But even then I think the side-characters apart from a few like Topher, Eva, and Danny were quite forgettable.Overall I did really enjoy the story and it's a great introduction to the genre.
The story was predictable but was a good trip. Was drown out and repetitive in parts, but there were some good elements. My biggest gripe was the bit about the Snoop account at the start of every chapter. I get why they did it, but near the climax, as POVs were swapping fast, it grew annoying and repetitive.
This had so much promise and some great scenes but it could have been so much better
