Ours Qui Lit

Traditional Chinese edition of Ours qui lit, story by Eric Pintus and illustration by Martine Bourre. A bear is reading under a tree in a beautiful autumn morning. A few animals passing by would interrupt him and ask what he was reading. And the bear would say, "I am checking which one of you will I eat today." Every one sadly went away to say goodbye to its family. Except for the clever rabbit. The illustrations employed geometric shapes for the characters. Each animals was in turn eaten by the bear and the shape would end up in the bear's stomach to never come out. The rabbit, however, ended up getting away from the bear's mouth.
