She befriends other girls and enjoys boarding school life. Peggy proves herself capable of standing up to bullies, chasing burglars and being a good influence on the other girls. This book addresses the issues of bullying in school and the bad effects. Peggy is a brave cheerful girl and this book though having some serious undertones is often humorous and amusing as well.
