Former owner's name on title page, otherwise without writing, marks, clean, bright and tight, appears unread. This Fauvist painter merits a re-examination. Many of the works illustrated look as if they influenced Matisse, well before Matisse was dealing with similar concepts and colors. Wonderful, joyful work.
