Ride the Storm

From New York to Calgary? Not a move Alexandra Grant sees coming-until the black cloud of her fiancé's betrayal leaves both her love life and career in shambles. With her faith in men shattered, Lexie is determined to take her life in a completely different direction. Picking up the reins of running her late aunt's ranch in Alberta seems just the challenge she needs to make a fresh start. Assuming she can steer clear of the too-sexy know-it-all owner of the neighboring Aspen Ridge Ranch. In the rugged foothills of the Canadian Rockies, the last thing Jake Callahan needs is a city girl neighbor who can barely tell one end of a horse from the other. But that's exactly what he gets when the Lone Eagle's absentee-owner runs out in front of his truck in the middle of a thunderstorm. One look and he knows she's the sort of trouble he can't afford-not if wants to keep his well-ordered world under control. Too bad she's exactly the sort of temptation he can't resist. An Alberta cattle rancher and a New York PR executive don't have much in common-unless you count a decade-old secret, a dangerous vendetta, and a white-hot mutual attraction-and neither see the storm clouds building on the horizon.
