Poppy och Alex. Alex och Poppy. De har egentligen ingenting gemensamt. Hon är impulsiv, han är jordnära. Hon har en omättlig reslust, han föredrar att stanna hemma med en bok. 3.75 ☆'sThis one was a buddy readalong for me, although we didn't really find a lot to chat about. The holiday destinations (mostly) sounded fabulous, and there were a couple of funny moments throughout which I read aloud to family making them laugh too.This was a sweet will they/won't they story, but not my favourite from this author.
I liked this book because even though the romance was quite slow at times, it sped up enough that you didn't get bored and lose interest. I also liked that they were friends before they realised their love factor. (Best) Friends-to-Lovers is one of my all time favourite tropes.
4 stars For the first time in my life, the airport strikes me as the loneliest place in the world.NOW THIS IS HOW YOU DO A ROMANCE NOVEL. Romance novels aren't usually my cup of tea, but People We Meet on Vacation was just too good. It was such a cute and summery book and I love Poppy and Alex so much. Their 10 years worth of banters are honestly so good. I love how this book is centred around travelling, but it also shows that travelling is more about meeting new people and the connections you make during your travels. I also love how the book explores the concept of contentedness. This is hands down one of the best romance novels I've read and I'm so excited to read more of Emily Henry's novels.
