Bella Matthews masterfully weaves a story that explores the struggles of pushing forward in the face of doubt, illustrating how sometimes, we are our greatest adversaries. Maverick and Emmie's sweet, slow-burn romance had me hooked, while the hilarious side characters kept me entertained with their banter and let's not forget the unforgettable four-year-old with a sharp tongue and her loyal sidekick, Butters!
