The story in this book was very good, but I had a very hard time sticking it out to the end. The author spent way to much time in the minutia that had nothing to do with the story, i.e. what each of the characters ordered for lunch, or the type of clothes each was wearing. Also the main character kept referring to his girlfriend as "my partner", no name or pet name. Very disconcerting.
