This was probably my favorite in the series so far! I love Dean! And Allie is perfect for him!
The story is good. I love ali and dean together. I honestly cant wait to see their season in the show
4.5⭐I really, really liked this.Dean was exactly the kind of character I expected to love, and I absolutely did. The banter between him and Allie was probably my favorite part of the book. They were so much fun together, the chemistry was great and I loved watching something that was supposed to be completely casual turn into Dean being completely, embarrassingly gone for her.I also really liked Allie, and I loved that their relationship actually felt like a relationship, not just two hot people being thrown together for 300 pages. My main issue is that it did feel a bit too long. I was enjoying it the whole time, but there were definitely moments where I thought we could move things along a little faster. The ending also hit me much harder than I expected. I related a lot to Allie trying to support someone who is grieving and having absolutely no idea what the right thing to do is. The helplessness, the anger, the frustration of watching someone you love suffer while knowing you can't fix it (and sometimes wanting to smack some sense into them, but still wanting to be the best version of yourself for them, even if that means discarding your own boundaries and happiness) felt painfully familiar. I wasn't expecting that kind of emotional gut punch from this book at all.Basically, I came for the asshole manwhore becoming the rebound and stayed for him falling hopelessly in love and then unexpectedly making me feel things.4.5 stars. Very, very close to a 5.
THANK GOD FOR THE ADAPTATION! didn't expect it at first, but I really didn't like this book. The plot, dialogues and storyline were cringe and gave me the ick so many times; also, the plot twist (the part that was supposed to be a very touching moment in the story) was wasted.
I enjoyed this book so much. I think it might be my favorite.Sean is the worst. And I think Dean might be my favorite guy in this series so far. He's not perfect and he's vain but I love him. And Allie has a delightfully kinky side that comes out on the first night that leaves marks even days later.I enjoyed reading about Allie and Dean's relationship. Every action was fairly justified. I'm not saying the way Dean broke after the accident was okay but considering it might have been his first real loss, I couldn't exactly blame him. He just shut down. I did know it was coming since my sister had told my mom what to expect with the next season of the show [which will for some reason be skipping to the third book for the second season but it's not like it's the first book-to-show adaptation to do that, looking at you Heated Rivalry]. But when the moment actually came, I was stunned and heartbroken.I'll be curious to see how that entire section goes in the show. But regardless, this was such a good book. Sean annoyed me every time his name popped up, especially after Allie talked about all the times they had broken up.And with that ending line, I am so looking forward to reading Tucker's book. That is going to be interesting, especially to see if it goes the same route another book with the same premise goes. I hope not.
I can see why it's people's favorite. However, I do not like the friends to benefits trope so it can't be my favorite.HOWEVER, I still loved it!! The third act was crazy and it did make me feel things.
Love the start of their relationship and how it begins, its perfect for them both and so cute to read.
Good book, but does anyone else find it weird when your husband's name is also the name of the main character? 🤔

Omg i was just hoping this book won't end. Dean and Allie is awesome but the friendship among the guys really cracks me up. The part when the guys were teasing Dean about the dildo was hilarious, i couldn't stop laughing.
the more of these I read, the more I realize no one will be like Garrett, and he truly is number 1
