The Shining

Jack Torrance seeks redemption and a fresh beginning when he takes a job as the winter caretaker at the isolated Overlook Hotel. Accompanied by his wife Wendy and their young son Danny, Jack hopes to find solace and reclaim his life after a series of struggles. However, the grandeur of the Overlook belies the dark history that lurks within its walls, a past that begins to unravel Jack’s sanity.

Danny possesses a unique ability known as "the shining," which allows him to perceive the hotel's sinister secrets. As winter sets in and the family becomes stranded in the desolate landscape, the malevolent forces at the Overlook start to awaken. Jack, progressively under the influence of the hotel’s dark energies, battles his personal demons while threatening his family’s safety.
