SHE TURNS A CORNER IN TIME . . .
When twenty-year-old Amanda Brewster takes her grandmother’s place at a Mardi Gras parade in contemporary Galveston, she finds she cannot escape her grief over the recent death of her relative. But little does Amanda expect to be met by a handsome, mysterious gentleman in Prince Albert attire. When the masterful stranger gives her a magical Victorian Valentine then kisses her, Amanda is enraptured both physically and emotionally, and reality recedes around her.
Suddenly Amanda finds herself transported from the Strand in Galveston, Texas to the Strand in 1851 London, England! There Amanda is wooed by her dashing, enigmatic rescuer, Justin Cartwright, Earl of Lockridge. Even as Amanda discovers the wonders of 1850's British society life and the splendors of an old-fashioned courtship, she questions whether she and Justin can ever transcend the hurts and fears haunting them both. Will these two anguished hearts find love and healing as they seek their rightful place in time together - forever?
