I read this book in one sitting. yeas it was inhaled! I loved it. Shanna is under witness protection and runs a 24 hours dentistry business.Roman is a Coven Master /vampire/ ridiculously good looking /scientist who has.. well. he has broken a fang.of course they consult their resources but have to find a mortal to do their work and wipe their mind of the event.This is obviously where Shanna comes in but several events lead him taking her into a kind of Vampire protective custody.this is a love story at its best....even with the psycho overprotective father.this series looks like it will be a great one, and I look forward to reading about these vampires further.
Vampire romance novels are some of my favorites but I couldn't finish this ... I tried struggled but finally gave up. Shanna is too whiny, and the story drags ... I've read other Kerrelyn Sparks and not had this problem so I'm hoping it is a one off. 1 stars
