Addicted...To Hope

Addicted.To Hope is a curriculum introducing you to not only the biblical precepts of freedom, but to the One who has set you free. Addicted.To Hope was a vision given to a group of recovered drug addicts and prostitutes; porn viewers and gambling addicts; overeaters and church attendance addicts. "Oh, what a miserable person I am! Who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin and death? Thank God! The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 7:24-25 (NLT). We tried and couldn't quit on our own; we were a mess! There was no hope for us in this world outside of abandoning our self to Christ. Others tried to persuade us and for awhile it seemed like it was working. And then! No good! Our own will or our trust in some unnamed entity was not capable of keeping us. It was not true. You know it's not true. Our only hope is Jesus. Author Dan Berry is the pastor and cofounder of Addicted.To Hope, Inc. Because of the acceptance of the Addicted.To Hope material, by various agencies and churches, Dan recently left his staff position as a counseling pastor at Central Christian Church in Las Vegas, Nevada. He now works full time with churches, prisons, and juvenile facilities developing resources for addiction recovery. He continues to reside in Las Vegas, Nevada, with Carla, his wife of 40 years.
