Life couldn’t be any better for celebrity screenwriter Danny he’s dating a movie-star bombshell and his latest screenplay screams Oscar. But still, he feels empty. Enter Sunny Smith. After turning the big 4-0 with few prospects on the horizon, Sunny creates forty goals for herself ― and sleeping with her writing idol, Danny Masters, makes the list. The two meet outside the theater hosting Danny’s premiere. He’s everything she’s imagined him to be. And she captivates him, reminding him of simpler times before the hollowness of Hollywood. But when Danny lashes out at the audience ― his fans ― during the post-screening Q&A session, Sunny bitterly returns his scorn from the head of his autograph line. After a video of Sunny’s tirade goes viral, Danny desperately seeks out Sunny so he can apologize. When their paths cross again, they’ll have to look inside themselves to determine the true worth of adulation.
