In a post-apocalyptic future, Deunan Knute navigates the remnants of a world ravaged by conflict. As a nomad soldier, she has seen the worst of humanity during World War III, leaving her with scars that go deeper than the physical. Alongside her cyborg partner, Briareos, who embodies both the prowess of advanced technology and the fragility of human emotion, they seek purpose in a healing yet fragmented society.
