And then Celeste catches my attention. The beautiful little sea minx was marked as a breeder and predestined for another. She’s accepted her fate and shows no fear when I divulge my plans for her.

In exchange for my brother’s freedom, I will trade her to the enemy.

Celeste has plans of her own. The full scale of her intentions is yet to be determined. Something tells me she doesn’t understand the full potential of the magic in her blood. Magic powerful enough to influence my decisions. And potent enough to make my people weary of her the moment they see her. But it’s not the magic that lures me. I never intended to keep her, but ever since I stole her, all I’ve wanted to do is claim her for myself, damning all the consequences.
