I dug the story, but the whole "let's keep it hush-hush so the sibling doesn't freak" trope drives me bonkers. Seriously, who cares about the sibling’s opinion anyway? On the bright side, Willow’s portrayal as someone rocking life with a disability was spot on. Dev? Total gem, and he snagged the awesome girl! If sports romance is your jam, dive in! The chemistry between the leads was sizzling, and their journey? Pure heart-melter. Themes of resilience and love stitched the story into a cozy, relatable quilt. The sporty backdrop added a thrilling twist, making this a must-read for genre fans. All in all, it's a charming cocktail of romance and personal growth, with a fresh spin on tackling life's curveballs.
This was so difficult to read. Dev as a character was so whiny and annoying. The writing was hard to read, it felt like this plot as well as the type of characters belonged in a book set in a high school that is how childish it came across.I will say before I stopped reading there were a couple of quotes I did like but nothing that could make me finish the book unfortunately.While this wasn't for me it may be for someone else. This is just my opinion.
