Dangerous Duets

Dangerous Duet Anthology By Brooksley Borne ---The Rescue: Abeline Devereux escaped captivity by Irish renegades only to be taken hostage by brutal Norman knights on a mission to find her beloved brother John. Abeline has managed to keep John's whereabouts from both the Irish and the knights, but her clear thinking is threatened by her intense attraction to handsome Sir Anthony Gauvin, captain of the Norman knights; who Abeline had previously known by reputation for cut-throat brutality. ----Misunderstood: Newly ordained war hero, Aiden, Lord Sowerby, goes into his study for a drink and finds instead a delectable young woman, Mary Frederica, intent on robbing him. She wants her heirloom back but Aiden argues she needs a spanking more. What she needs is love, understanding, and plenty of sex. She has been wronged by all around her and this brings out his hero's need to rescue her. She feels it would be the end of everything she knows if she trusts him.
