Best book I've ever read 📚
4.5The emotional rollercoaster this book had me on was intense.I will start with the things I didn't like about this book first. Starting with the few chapters that the FMC, Lennon, was saying and doing things that were really pointless. They made me so annoyed at her character as they seemed to only be there for the purpose to annoy the reader, they had no baring on her character at that point in the book or even the plot. Thankfully it didn't last long. My other issue was the ending. I wasn't convinced that is something either character would do even when drunk. It felt out of place. That could have definitely been better. The positives, the character growth of the MMC, Jaxon, was perfect in my opinion. His reasoning for how he was made the most sense to me. His relationship with his cat, Mittens, was both adorable and hilarious. Toy Story themed party... That is all lol.The cute friendship between Jaxon and Sarah had me teary eyed it was so sad but also adorable.Jaxon finally seeing himself through his friends and Lennon was so emotional.Lennon and Jaxon's gradual build up of their relationship was so fun to see, they were perfect for each other and to see them both finally realise that was fantastic.Glad I finally read this instalment of this series, Jaxon is one of my favourites so far.
This book string me along on a roller coaster of emotions. I connected with these characters and felt everything by they were feeling. Jaxon and Lennon had a somewhat enemies to lovers moment going on but they weren’t true enemies. They had tension rolling off them in waves especially after they both had a great night together before finding out that they work together. They’re personalities complemented each others and I loved that they each felt safe enough around the other to let go and act like their true selves. Their personalities complemented personal development for both of these characters throughout the book was strong which helped build the connection with the characters and the book. I really loved this one and would definitely recommend!!
