Ver Todos🦞4.1 stars🍯This and Book Lovers are Emily Henry's strongest releases; argue with the wall. If you asked me why, I honestly couldn't tell you, but maybe because:🫰Obviously the romance -- Harriet and Wyn's interactions were funny and heartbreaking at the same time.👍Ou ou ou I did not expect this book to be so deep but the discussion of the broader morals and messages about depression, friendships, belonging or growing apart.👍The beautiful prose within this book. Emily Henry never fails to depict the scenery with amazing writing, pacing and prose. Love her.👌I personally did not mind the miscommunication, but I know a lot of people will, so tread carefully, I guess?👎Just a little too many characters -- I got confused sometimes and was wondering which was which and who was who.
✨️REVIEW✨️Happy Place by Emily Henry⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️QOTB: "You are in all my happiest places. You are where my mind goes when it needs to be soothed."Emily is a new author for me, although I have heard plenty of feedback on her books. This was a lovely story about love, friendship, happiness, but also falling apart, losing yourself and realising only you can find your happy place. The writing style was easy to swallow, in all it took 7 hours to read this book. (I don't get a huge amount of block time to read a day) but it was an easy read. Emily pulls you in right from the get go, with the stories of the all the 6 friends and how they came to be friends, but goes on to tell how their lives change and they didn't want to face the reality of it. The characters are lovable, all with their own quirks and personalities, but the thing I loved the most was the friendship and how after everything it still stood strong. At the end of the day, friends are the family you choose for yourselves aren't they and that comes across majorly in this story. This book shows vulnerability and honesty, but also how in life we push people away, and try to please other people more than ourselves. No-one else can make your happy, only you can do that!Thank you @emilyhenrywrites for a fantastic, enlightening read.
I really loved it. The characters, drama, and relationships were amazing.
