Sophie Mercer never thought her life would take such a wild turn when she discovered she was a witch. Now, after a series of mishaps that have put her magical abilities to the test, she's finding herself in even deeper trouble. Sent to Hex Hall, a reform school for witches, shapeshifters, and faeries, Sophie expects a mundane experience filled with classes and rules. Instead, she quickly learns that Hex Hall is anything but ordinary, as she navigates a world filled with rivalries, hidden dangers, and unexpected friendships.
As Sophie attempts to fit into her new environment, she uncovers dark secrets that threaten not only her well-being but the lives of those around her. With mounting challenges and a burgeoning sense of her own power, Sophie must confront both her past and the darker aspects of the magical world she never truly understood. It becomes a race against time as she learns what it really means to be a witch—one with the ability to shape her own destiny.

The first thing about this book that caught my attention was the cover,,but then it was the witchy theme that propelled me into picking it up .So I didn'thave high expectations. After finishing it,I had mixed feelings. Overall,it's a good read.At least,it was not a disappointment, and was good enough that I couldn't put it down!
