Inspired by the Russian submarine disaster of August 2000, in collaboration with Sound&Fury, Bryony Lavery's play imagines the life of submariners, deep below the icy seas on the fraying front line of the cold war. Kursk was iproduced at the Young Vic Theatre 2009 and revived to great acclaim in 2010.
