Kari has always been the dependable one in her small town, offering solace and support to friends and neighbors through their toughest moments. Known for her compassionate nature and a listening ear, she finds fulfillment in being there for others, though her own dreams often take a backseat. As the pressures of constant emotional labor weigh on her, she begins to question if she has sacrificed her own happiness for the sake of everybody else.
When an unexpected event propels her into a journey of self-discovery, Kari is faced with the challenge of reclaiming her own voice and aspirations. She learns that vulnerability can also be a strength, and sometimes, it’s okay to put oneself first. Her journey is not just about finding balance; it’s about reevaluating her role in a community that needs her— and discovering who she truly is beneath the weight of expectation.
