This little book tells of the sad but inspiring story of a father and his addicted son coming together in the valley of the shadow of death. There is poignancy, sadness but also love and redemption. About the Anthony James wrote this memoir following the death of his son, he says it was very cathartic for him. Anthony is in his early seventies and though retired he now writes full time and is working on his third novel. His earlier works, "Smiles in Africa" a novel is already published and he anticipates his second novel "The Poisoned Banquet" being published in 2012 . He also writes for magazines and publications mainly in the Caribbean where he winters with his wife Dawn.
