Silas and Charlie are a teenage couple who’ve been best friends their entire lives and deeply in love for years. Except now, they keep losing all their memories over and over again every couple days. Using old journals, love letters, and clues they’ve begun to leave themselves, they try to piece together what is happening to them and if/how to stop it. What they learn makes them question the kind of people they are and if it’s really worth remembering. I was super intrigued with what was happening and the story hooked me from the beginning. It seemed like it was going to be a really good whodunnit kinda mystery… but it ended up being just a super cute teenage love story. Sure, I like the warm fuzzies and overall I really ENJOYED reading the book, but it felt like there was some unresolved potential. And just please disregard the epilogue. It kinda ruined it and made the whole thing seem too cheesy to work anymore. “How odd to be made of flesh, balanced on bone, and filled with a soul you’ve never met.”

ReviewNever Never by Colleen Hoover & Tarryn Fisher⭐️⭐️⭐️I got this from my local library and thought I'd give it a go. It's a fairly quick and easy read but feels repetitive. The journey to Silas and Charlie finding out what is going on and why they have lost their memory is a fun one though. Is there something they've done to cause this and how do they go about getting themselves back. Very cute YA book in general, lots going on and lots of character growth. "I don't know if I normally believe in soul mates, but for the next twenty-four hours, I'd bet my life for it to be true"

Het verhaal intrigeert me, de schrijfstijl alleen niet. Het einde laat me meer lezen, maar de karakters zijn zo hetzelfde, waardoor het erg verwarrend is. Hetw as niet heel poetisch, wat wel jammer is.
