Over twenty years, snapshots of that relationship are revealed on the same day—July 15th—of each year. Dex and Em face squabbles and fights, hopes and missed opportunities, laughter and tears. Ver TodosI'm so in between on this book. I wouldn't read it again, but there aren't too many books that I would. I'm not sure if I would recommend this book to anyone else just because there were only a few parts that I really loved. At times I couldn't put the book down because I fell in love with Emma. However, other times I didn't want to continue reading because of the douche bag that Dexter was. I really loved the technique the book took - writing a full story from just one day a year. However, it seemed as if the author really just liked writing introductions, not so much endings. Speaking of which, the ending was a tad disappointing. I did find that it was refreshing that the story was pretty real, though it dragged in some places.
