Sometimes it just takes one person to open everyone's heart to love and acceptance. That's exactly what happened in Whispers of Home, when out and proud Jaron McAllister comes back to Pickleville after years of being away. Finding himself attracted to the town man-slut spells disaster, though, especially when he has a young son that is his whole world.

In The Sum of Everything, Brian thinks he's the only single gay man in Pickleville. Then Greg Mitchell gets drunk at a party and confesses his undying lust for Brian. They are two very different people though, and Greg comes with a lot of baggage that Brian isn't sure he's willing to carry.

In Fixing What's Bent, Andrew learns that moving to a small town isn't the peaceful experience he hoped it would be. His peace gets shattered on the very first day he moves in and meets Kyler. Andrew's commitment issues go right out the window when Kyler comes steamrolling into his life. So much for the peace and quiet of small-town life.
