A story I worked on for nearly 6 months. It's simple, easy to understand. I would also love to see this made into a film, because it would be so easy to do. Below is the synopsis. Hope you enjoy.
A friendship is an invaluable thing; it’s a state of mutual trust and moral support between two or more people who share common interests, hobbies, etcetera. No matter what the circumstance may be, a true friend will always be there to lend a helping hand, and never leave those who are close to fend for themselves in times of trouble.
Many people have many, many friends, far more than he or she realises. Others aren’t so privileged. There are few who are lonesome, and so are blessed with hardly any at all.
Some friends grow up together, from a very young age, which makes them basically more than friends; they could, in fact, be considered as family, seeing as they know one another so very well.
Unfortunately, there are those who, sadly, just lose touch, after being so close for so very long, whether it’s because of a personal matter, or simply moving far away, perhaps to another part of the country or even abroad. Being forced to live each day without being around people one knows – missing those familiar faces and hearing those comforting voices – can sometimes be very heart-breaking.
There are times, quite often, in fact, where long-lost friends will stumble across one another, at a place least expected. And so, after spending so long apart, the excitement of a friendship rekindled makes life worthwhile again.
Nicholas Potter, 28, is one of those men who lost touch with a very close friend, Caitlyn Valentine, also 28; she is really more like the sister he was never fortunate enough to be blessed with.
After several years’ absence, Caitlyn turns up rather unexpectedly, at the most unlikely of places. The two are more than thrilled to see each other once again. However, something about Caitlyn seems different.
People age with time. People also change, but does that also include Caitlyn? Has she changed since the two last met?
