Ver TodosWas a decent book. I liked it pretty well. Wasn't a complete slow burn and it kept me captivated.
I was so surprised by this book. The plot in this book is so intriguing and had me hooked from the get go. I actually liked the lack of spice in this book. If there was more then I believe it would have ruined the story and made it something it's not. The slow burn in this is not something I usually like to read but with the characters past it was crucial that it was done this way as any faster and it would have been disservice to what the characters went through in their lives prior to meeting again. I absolutely loved Christians' best friends and can't wait to read their books. I would say this book borders on enemies to lovers, its more than rivals but not as bad as enemies. Take that into consideration. I don't believe this should be categorised as enemies to lovers but it is close. I definitely think if you liked Truly Madly Deeply then this is your vibe. Although this book is around 2/5 spice level. So if spice is what you prefer then this may not be for you.
