The Cruise

Gripping and poignant accounts of the lives of the principal characters unfold, prior to The Neptune leaving port on its Mediterranean cruise.

When the vessel enters the English Channel, an excited cross-section of passengers gaze out to sea with thoughts of the many fascinating places they may see for the first time, unaware of events that will take place and directly affect them.

As time passes in a relaxed atmosphere, shipboard friendships are formed, highly personal stories exchanged and some life changing decisions made.

The story is highlighted within a colourful background of days in foreign ports when passengers will have the opportunity of visiting world famous sites as in Monte Carlo, Rome, Santiago de Compostela and elsewhere.

‘The Cruise’ combines drama, humour and romance coupled with European travel and an extraordinary sequence of events that brings to one passenger the climax to a lengthy family search that had previously involved a car journey of over 900 miles in Northern France.
