The Resolution

It’s been three months since Cora and Kyle left Yachat, desperately searching for clues to Sam’s disappearance. The closer they get to the Estate, and the farther north they drive, the clearer it becomes that the Estate – and more specifically, Cora and Sam’s aunt – has set a trap for them. Seeing no other way to end the bloody game of cat and mouse, Cora decides to face the court herself with Sam in tow. As ancient tenants are reenacted, Cora must prepare for her final challenge. An all-out duel against the Lady Elsa, Matron of the Estate, with the winner taking all. But what’s at stake may be more than Cora can withstand – if she fails, not only will she lose Sam, but she will be forced to marry into one of the great vampire houses. And she will never see Sam again.
