Could not put this book down. Marieke is an amazing story teller, and she tore my heart out in million pieces with this story! Tackling an important issue today, gun violence, Marieke tells the story of the students at Opportunity High, who are going through one of the most tragic things that could happen to someone - a school shooting. This story keeps you on the edge of your feet, and breaks your heart in half. A must read!
I wouldn't say that i hated this book and i wouldn't say that i love this book. I contemplated whether to dnf this book so many times. The first 3/4 of this book was horrible while it was impossible to put down the book for the last 1/4.

Plot: The premise of the book and most of the delivery are done well. The way that the book ends is unbelieveable (unrealistic) and too dramatic for my tastes.
Characters: Too many characters to follow to be fully flushed out.
