Out of pure enjoyment, 4.5 stars.Deadass. I had fun reading this, the dead dad joke ish banter is similar to what my partner and I use. Is it a little mermaid retelling, that seems to promise violence but shows more childlike? A bit yeah. But I loved it nonetheless. Honestly my issues with it were, the ending after the battle seemed fast, but I didn't hate it. And also the lack of lore around the other kingdoms. Could of delved in more and explored, potentially with spin off books in the same world. Genuinely had a great time though.Similar vibes, to daughter of the pirate king. I love her writing too!
Libros de fantasía que se concentra más en eso (la fantasía) que en romance o en como la protagonista habla de lo guapo que es su interés amoroso, y eso me encanta.La manera de narrar en el libro se me hizo algo confusa ya que al momento de pasar a algunos capítulos se me complicaba saber quién de los dos están narrando
