4 stars seems generous, 3 is more fair, however that would leave me to give “Us” 2 stars which seems harsh, as “Him” is the better of the 2.I did relate to James and Wes’s rekindling love story, which I enjoyed, but the writing style was a bit juvenile for me. Basic storytelling, making it a nice easy read, but some lines made it feel like it was written for high schoolers/young adult. Which, for being MM romance with some explicit love scenes, it made feelings sort of confusing.Overall though, I enjoyed it. I think it’s a great book for those looking to explore the world of MM romance, especially when looking for where to go after reading Rachel Reid’s Game Changers series.
