We Need to Talk

This is an alternate cover edition for ASIN: B014TNARTM

When 23-year-old Laura Brighton moves to New York after college, she has big dreams, just like any Midwest girl trying to make it as a writer. She learns that life doesn't always go as planned and her pre-scripted dreams were nothing more than a first draft. When a captivating brunette hits on her in a coffee shop, she learns she doesn't know anything at all, especially when it comes to matters of the heart. She falls hard and fast for an older woman, who later vanishes without a trace and has the nerve to re-appear fifteen years later.
This is a short story of a love that started innocently enough, and left one woman with more questions than answers.
