Weird Stuff

A very funny story about writing, soccer, girls and weird stuff.Brian Hobble isn't much of a writer - he's more of a soccer player. And most of the time he's not much of a soccer player either. But then one day he borrows a pink Easyflow pen from Nathan Lumsdyke, and he can't stop writing! Unfortunately for Brian, the pen only allows him to write sickeningly flowery prose, even on his science test. Brian can't wait to give the pen back – until he realises that Cassandra Wyman finds him a lot more interesting with his new-found writing talent. Weird Stuff is the first in a series by Richard Tulloch revolving around the kids of Garunga Central and the slightly odd things that happen to them. 'I couldn't write for nuts, until I borrowed Nathan Lumsdyke's pink Easiflow pen. Suddenly I wrote super long stories. They were totally weird, embarrassing stories, with kissing and stuff. And what was worse, everybody thought I'd made them up myself!!!' Brian Hobble, Author (also soccer superstar and red-hot babe magnet) 'Brian Hobble is the most talented young writer I've met in my years as a children's author and writing teacher. Keep up the good work, Brian!' Lancelot Cummins (bestselling author of A T-Rex Ate My Homework, Brown Gunk from Mars and My Mum's a Zombie Killer) 'Brian Hobble's Weird Stuff is a reel fantastick book and you oughta reed it.' Vince Peretti (Brian Hobble's best friend)
