I recieved an ARC of this book thanks to NetGalley and Image Comics. I am leaving a voluntary and honest review. The colors of this comic are amazing. So bright and bold! The art is also beautiful. The story is interesting too, a girl made of a patchwork blanket meant to be a servant but given a little too many brains. I know this is based on an old story, but I don't think it's a story I am enjoying.I don't know, it left a nasty taste in my mouth. The patchwork girl looked a little too POC, and being told she got too many brains, and that she was just supposed to be a mindless servant made me feel a little icky. That, plus the fact that I really hated all of thr characters except maybe Unc, I don't think this is one I will continue reading.
